Over the summer we saw several menu changes happen; and one of those was at the quick service location Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Gone are the Impossible Burnt Ends and in its place is the new Korean Barbecue Sandwich.

This new sandwich also features Impossible meat and is filled with pickled vegetables, Gochujang vegan mayonnaise, and cilantro in a sourdough baguette. I will say that sandwich seems pretty small when it comes out, but I left full.

The meal packs flavor and I loved the texture of the crispy pickled vegetables. The Gochujang mayo isn’t spicy and the Impossible meat is cooked well. My baguette was soft so eating it was very easy. It reminded me of the Bahn Mi from Disney’s California Adventure that we used to get every visit.

I truly loved every bite of this from start to finish. This is something I would pick again and have a hard time choosing between here or Satu’li Canteen. I absolutely love this quick service location as it offers a tranquil area for lunch that truly transports you away from the theme park. I highly recommend giving this sandwich a try on your next visit to Walt Disney World!
